President Ron Patten, KG6HSQ, called the meeting to order at 1503 hrs.

The pledge of allegiance was conducted by Ron, KG6HSQ.

Ron, KG6HSQ, went around the room and had the attendees introduce themselves.

Ron, KG6HSQ, discussed the Fallbrook Avocado Festival. An email has gone out with last year’s information. This year’s will be handed out at the 0430 briefing on the day of the event. Ron described the entry order and protocols for the event. Ron will resend the information packet. Ron indicated that there is information on the Fallbrook Chamber of Commerce website

Ron, KG6HSQ, noted upcoming events. Activity Day May 30th and Field Day June 27th – 28th

Stephen, KC6MIE, announced that there will be a hospital drill from with a HF check-ins on April 15th.
Schedule for check-in is:
At 0800 start HF 75M Net on 3924 kHz LSB voice
At approx 0810 QSY to 40M 7204 kHz LSB voice
At approx 0820 QSY to 60M Channel 1 (5330.5 kHz dial USB)
At approx 0825 return to 3924 kHz LSB for late check-ins and wrap-up

Ron, KG6HSQ, reported the Spring Fire in Moreno Valley of over 4,000 acres with smoke noticeable in Fallbrook.

Ron, KG6HSQ, received notice that the Scout Hut renovation has taken down the tower and wants it removed. We will need to form a work party to do this. There is also a preliminary idea to create a communication trailer to replace the Scout Hut radio room.

President Ron Patten, KG6HSQ, adjourned that meeting at 1620 hrs.
