President Ron Patten, KG6HSQ, called the meeting to order at 1505 hrs.

The pledge of allegiance was conducted by Brent, KJ6UMY.

Ron, KG6HSQ, recapped the North County Fire Open House that was this morning from 0900 – 1300 hrs. He showed a number of pictures from the event.

Ron, KG6HSQ, announced that the Fallbrook Harvest Faire is coming up soon on October 19th. Muster is at 0600 hours. A sign-up sheet was available at the meeting.

Ron, KG6HSQ, reports we need to schedule another simplex test after the Tuesday ARES net.
We might do a test on the FARC repeater output frequency.

Ron, KG6HSQ, reported that there was Sandia Fire traffic on a frequency not usually used in
North County.

Ron, KG6HSQ, reminded us that the Veteran’s Day Parade is upcoming on Tuesday, November
11th. If you wish to volunteer, email Ron. Ron shared pictures and documentation from a past
parade.

Ron, KG6HSQ, showed pictures from the past Christmas Parade, as this year’s is coming soon in
early December. He reminded us of the route and how float alignment and dispatch works.

President Ron Patten, KG6HSQ, adjourned that meeting at 1543 hrs.
