President Ron Patten, KG6HSQ, called the meeting to order at 1503 hrs.

Brent, KJ6UMY, gave the following financial report:

Ron, KG6HSQ, had the meeting attendees go around the room and introduce themselves.

Ron, KG6HSQ, commented on the recent simplex test on 145.555 held after the Tuesday night’s
ARES net. He recommended that every ham learn to program their radio in VFO mode.

Ron, KG6HSQ, presented a recap of the recent Activity Day at its new location. Rain and
lightning limited setup operations.

Ron, KG6HSQ, listed upcoming club events including the Fire Department Open House,
Veteran’s Day Parade, the Harvest Faire and the Christmas Parade.

Ron, KG6HSQ, referred everyone to be familiar with the ARES comm plan available on the club
website.

Brent, KJ6UMY, gave two presentations. The first was on “End-Fed Antennas” and the second
titled “Every Ham Should Know”.

Ron, KG6HSQ, recognized Fred, KD6IKA, as a new General class ham.

President Ron Patten, KG6HSQ, adjourned that meeting at 1620 hrs.
