President Ron Patten, KG6HSQ, called the meeting to order at 1503 hrs.
The pledge of allegiance was conducted by Forrest, KK6BYR.

Ron, KG6HSQ, presented the Field Day pictures from the Village News and Bill’s, N6OUI, pictures from the SD ARES website. Ron’s modifications to the tower trailer for the storage of antennas and other items were a great success. Ron reviewed the Field Day submission information, including the number of contacts by band, state and operator.
Ron, KG6HSQ, gave a live demonstration of VARA/Winlink on the VHF band using an external TNC and a Kenwook mobile rig together with the VHF/UHF antenna on the Scout Hut.
Bob, W6RMG, displayed a T-Finder antenna and electronics used to locate aircraft emergency beacons on 121.5 and 243 MHz, with test beacons on 121.6 MHz.
Stephen, KC6MIE, discussed the possibility of operating FT8 at the next Field Day.
President Ron Patten, KG6HSQ, adjourned that meeting at 1620 hrs.
