On test run of course FARC's 440 seemed to work better than 2m. The PARC 147.130 +107.2 repeater can be used for backup communications and will monitored.
This is a new event, so best guess on times at this point, monitor repeater before shift. Most locations do not need to be exact. If it is a sunny day bring hats, umbrellas, chairs, water, find a shady spot, etc. Some locations are remote so be careful, monitor your surroundings.
Volunteers are invited to Hawaiian BBQ 1100-1600, stop by before or after your shift. Don't know if park's parking fee will be in effect for event. Early shift members if you like to make a day of it you can take a break get some food and go back out.
